The 2018 – 2019 PGA Tour Season has wrapped up and many interesting equipment changes have taken place during this event. Some star players went on with their old equipment (and sponsors), but some also made remarkable changes. You can see the latest status below:
- Jordan Spieth used Titleist AP2 iron models throughout his professional career. But before the 2019 Open Championship, he made a change to Titleist’s new T100 iron models. This is not surprising since Spieth is known to be involved in the design of these irons.
- Just Rose has been sponsored by TaylorMade for years, but for a long time, there have been rumors that this will change. Rose has officially announced a new sponsorship agreement with Honma and stated that he will use the “Rose Proto” model iron from now on.
- At the 2019 Arnold Palmer Invitational, Francesco Molinari announced that he will now work with Callaway.
- Tiger Woods used the TaylorMade TW-Phase 1 prototype irons during 2018, but this seems to have changed. Woods switched to the “P-7TW Milled” iron. This new model was specially developed for Tommy Fleetwood, but Tiger Woods uses a unique model.
